After 12 great years, Wine Kitz Truro will be closing on March 31, 2026.
I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the store over the years. I’ve met so many awesome people along the way — many of you I now consider friends — and it’s been a really great run. That said, it’s simply time to move on to other things.
Between now and closing, this is your last chance to make wine with us! We have lots of wine kits on sale, along with equipment and supplies for sale as well.

Our winemaker
My name is Elaine Desjardins, I am the owner/operator of the Wine Kitz in Bible Hill NS. I am originally from a small francophone village in Northern New Brunswick called Kedgwick, perfect spot for Salmon fishing and great hiking in the Appalachian mountains. We moved to Nova Scotia in 2008 and have been calling Truro our home since.
I am a wife, mother of two busy boys, wine lover, dog mom, beekeeper and all about living life to the fullest. I come from a family of entrepreneurs, starting with my grandmother opening her own clothing store back in the 1960s. I always knew that at some point in my life I would be running my own business. I have been a wine lover and maker for a long time so when the opportunity of opening a Wine Kitz came I just couldn't let this chance go by.
